It is designed to work with major tape-in brands, and plenty of people buy it for exactly that. It was tuned against our own adhesive, so it is at its fastest and cleanest on Vanity tabs, on other brands expect it to work, but not to be as quick.
Spray directly onto the bond from both sides, then slide the tape free. One pass. You are releasing the adhesive, not soaking the hair. The hair comes away clean and is ready to re-tape.
No. It is an oil-free solvent, hence it doesn't leave the greasy film that forces a clarifying wash before re-tabbing. The full formulation is published on the ingredients page rather than described as a proprietary blend.
